A review was carried out by the Ministry of Economic Development and New Zealand Trade & Enterprise that led to these proposed changes.

Now a proposal sits before Minister Gerry Brownlee to introduce a new scheme that will offer eligible businesses a partial subsidy to access business training and capability services provided by the private sector.
