Finding the Right Sustainability Solutions for your Business
Designed and delivered by Envirostate for WHK Business Growth
Workshop Duration: Half Day
Environmental issues are the driving force behind some major and permanent changes to the conditions under which many businesses operate. Sustainability is not a fad, here today, and forgotten tomorrow. Consumers are demanding goods and services with environmental integrity. They want to know that the businesses they are dealing with operate in a sustainable way. Growing regulatory pressure will see sustainability becoming enforceable, with businesses being denied access to consumer markets and constrained until they can provide proof of their environmental credentials.
Sustainability in business means remaining profitable in the long term. This workshop provides a practical introduction to the principles of sustainable business with a focus on the business case for undertaking sustainability initiatives. Key sustainability factors are presented with examples of how businesses are leveraging these opportunities. A simple process for assessing business sustainability is presented along with a how-to-guide for prioritising and actioning sustainability initiatives.
