This workshop will help you to effectively plan your people resources so that you hire staff with the right skills to support your business. It will help you to develop an understanding of recruitment process so that you can make the right employment decision.

Course content includes:

• Determining what people resources are needed
• Developing an accurate job description
• An understanding of employment legislation relating to the recruitment process and employment agreements
• How to get the best from advertising and using recruitment agencies
• Effective interviewing and reference checking
• Successful induction

If you employ great people for your business, you will need great leadership and people management skills to motivate and retain them. We recommend that you also attend our Effective Leadership and Managing and Motivating People workshops.
